Durham Cathedral Choir joins forces with the Avison Ensemble to perform Bach's stunning St John Passion on the evening of Palm Sunday.  This unmissable concert will be conducted by Daniel Cook, Master of the Choristers and Organist at Durham Cathedral with internationally renowned violinist Pablo Beznosiuk leading the orchestra. Our Cathedral Patrons and music supporters have a unique opportunity to join us before the concert and to hear from the members of the music department who are behind the wonderful sound of Durham Cathedral Choir. This will include a discussion of the significance and background of Bach's Passion, as well as revealing some the preparations required. With a drinks reception and reserved seating included, this is a wonderful chance to get closer to our captivating musicians. Tickets for entry to the concert and Patron event are £35.
