Calling all love birds across Durham City – this one you’re not going to want to miss! Fashion InDurham is back in the City this month with an extra special wedding theme, seeing experts from across Durham come together to help you in the planning of your Big Day.
Durham is simply stunning and so where better to plan your special day than set against the backdrop of this beautiful Medieval City? And because March and April are typically the months when brides and grooms start to plan their wedding, we wanted to provide you with the opportunity to check out some of the gorgeous venues available to you as a place to exchange your vows or hold your wedding reception.
Not forgetting, there are so many fantastic businesses across the City that can offer you their expert services. From stylish outfits to the latest hair and make-up trends, to the all-important wedding bands, finishing touches like flowers and decorations, and not forgetting the honeymoon too – we’ve got your wedding planning covered, and this extra special Fashion InDurham event gives you the perfect opportunity to come and see what the City has to offer you on your Big Day.
On Thursday 16th March, the event will take place at the Radisson Blu on Frankland Lane between 11am and 4pm. On both Friday 17th and Saturday 18th March, it will be held at the Durham Marriott Royal County Hotel on Old Elvet, again between 11am and 4pm. Businesses on hand during the course of the event to offer you their expert advice include Topshop and Topman, East, Next, Jones the Bookmakers, Andersons of Durham, Woven, Greenwoods, Hotter Shoes, Marks & Spencer, Oxfam, Ernest Jones, STA Travel, The Flight Centre, Eufloria and Alchemy.
And what would Fashion InDurham be without an expert stylist too? We’re so pleased to be able to welcome Belinda Alexander back to the City. With a knack of being able to find just what suits different people to bring out their best features, you’re going to have the opportunity to sit down with her, totally free of charge, in a one-to-one consultation to help you pin down your whole wedding day look.
While pre-booking appointments are not essential and you can just turn up and hope to see Belinda on the day, we’d strongly recommend booking a slot to avoid any disappointment, as we know how popular her services have been in at past events.
So if you’re newly engaged and planning a wedding (congrats!), make sure you save the date for Fashion InDurham this March.
